Dear NSBA Members,
It's time to register for our Summer Workshop, held on the campus of Doane College, in Crete Nebraska on Friday, July 12. Please open and read all of the attachments.

We are excited to announce that we will be having a Student Leadership Workshop at Doane College, on Friday, July 12 and at North Platte High School, on Saturday, July 13. This year Jeremy Spicer of SASI, "the leadership people" will be teaching the session at the Doane Site and Dr. Neal Schnoor of UNK will be teaching the session at the North Platte site.

Please get your student leadership registration forms in by June 1st. Planning ahead is one of the first steps to success.

From NSBA Past- President Steve Steager........ NSBA Spring Convention

Thank you to all that attended the 52nd Annual NSBA convention Feb 29th - March 2nd. Many informative sessions were attended by over 300 members of our organization. Several clinicians commented on our association's cohesiveness, camaraderie and our wonderful banquet.

If you have not yet attended an awards banquet, I encourage you to do so next year! President Michelle Bluford has some great clinicians
and ideas for the 53rd convention. Come back to this website for further updates as planning continues.

The Concert Band Festival was well attended with some very fine performances and learning opportunities from the clinicians. Thank you to the membership
for allowing me to serve as President. Also thank you to the Executive Board for all of their hard work to help make this a success. Special thanks to our outgoing board members, Randy Neuharth, Chiyo Kamada, David Bohnert and Joann Couton.
