From the Pesident...

The 2007-2008 school-year is rapidly coming to a close.  Here’s hoping that you and your students have enjoyed a very successful year.  The NSBA Summer Workshop is quickly approaching.  I have tried to schedule sessions that will be of interest to those who are just beginning their careers, and also, our “seasoned” veterans.  
The summer workshop provides an opportunity to gather new ideas from clinicians and hear new marching, concert, and jazz band literature.  My favorite part of the workshop is sharing ideas with colleagues and being able to renew friendships.  I find it to be a very relaxing and low-key (pun intended) weekend.

The Nebraska State Bandmasters Association was founded as an unincorporated educational organization in 1962. The organization was founded for anyone interested in the improvement of school bands.
