KickThis session will provide the instructor with different methods to use to motivate more students into becoming leaders in the band. Fran will provide directors with productive methods for teaching students how to be positive role models in band.

Electronic assessment tools are being used more-and-more by students and directors. This session will cover different types of assessment tools that can be used to make the assessment process more productive and enjoyable for the students, while providing the director with more plan time.

SchmitThis session will offer band directors the opportunity to get different ideas from four composers who have already established themselves as experts in the field. This session will give band directors the opportunity to ask questions of all panel members.

  ClinicPractical Rehearsal Strategies That Lead to Music-Making:  Habits for Success Dr. Mary K. Schneider – WMB 130 
This session will provide strategies and concepts to help teach your students to perform better and retain more. Information will be provide that will help the director and students with concepts such as tuning, balance, blend and phrasing.
